For 99 years, the Harlem Globetrotters have brought joy to people around the world as the always innovative, often imitated, but never duplicated, greatest basketball team on earth. Bringing joy wherever they go, the World-Famous Harlem Globetrotters inspire people on tour, on screens, and in the community with unbelievable ball-handling, dunks for days, astounding trick shots, lol moments, must-have merch and their work as Ambassadors of Goodwill. The Globetrotters have entertained fans in 124 countries and territories worldwide, introducing many to the sport of basketball throughout history.

Nearly 100 years ago - In 1926, Abe Saperstein founds the Harlem Globetrotters basketball team, initially known as the all-Black Savoy Big Five, in Chicago, Ill. On January 7, 2027, with 300 fans in attendance, the team has their debut game in Hinckley, IL as the New York Globetrotters, profiting $75.

For the first time in over 40 years, the Globetrotters are back on network television reaching a new generation of fans with two-time Emmy-nominated series, Harlem Globetrotters: Play It Forwards (NBC / Telemundo), My Rookie Season (YouTube Series), Secrets of the City (Aspire TV)
Coined by the U.S. State Department in 1951 as Ambassadors of Goodwill, the Harlem Globetrotters are still committed today to impacting communities around the globe through our Goodwill Ambassadors Initiative partnering with organizations like the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, The U.S. State Department, KaBoom!, the CDC Foundation, Microsoft, Red Nose Day, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Operation Homefront and more!
The Globetrotters are continuing to break basketball barriers today with 6 active female players across the Harlem Globetrotters and Washington Generals teams
Fans can look forward to new consumer product collaborations with Spalding, Zara, Abercrombie, Pac Sun and others
In 2024, the Globetrotters establish their first-ever sports residency at American Dream, a retail destination just outside New York City.
