The Silver Dollar City Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to helping families grow closer together in the communities of Stone and Taney counties by providing grants to support youth and adult ministry programs and projects.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five, no matter their family’s income. More than 2 Million books are mailed every month to families around the globe.
Shoebox Challenge has been a company-wide initiative for Herschend since 2011 with the goal to collect shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Since the Shoebox Challenge started, we have collected 11 million shoeboxes for children in need around the world.
The Center for Aquatic Sciences partners with Adventure Aquarium to promote the understanding, appreciation, and protection of aquatic life and habitats through research, education, and youth development programs in Camden, New Jersey. For more than 30 years, the Center for Aquatic Sciences has offered hands-on learning experiences, including field trips, summer camps, and interactive experiences for children and teenagers.
Pink Adventure Tours partners with the National Forest Foundation, the National Parks System, and several other environmental groups to conduct trail maintenance and clean-ups that benefit watersheds, wildlife, and public health across Arizona, Nevada, Missouri, and Tennessee.
Vancouver Aquarium Marine Mammal Rescue Society (VAMMRS) is internationally renowned for its groundbreaking stranded marine mammal medical program. VAMMRS responds to over 300 marine mammal emergencies annually and runs Canada's only dedicated marine mammal hospital facility. Over its 60 years in operation, VAMMRS has successfully rescued and rehabilitated over 3,000 marine mammals and counting.
