I am thrilled to share that the Harlem Globetrotters are returning to TV after nearly 40 years! Harlem Globetrotters: Play it Forward is an original 30-minute live-action series that will air on NBC’s The More You Know stations (check your local listings) starting this Saturday, October 1, at 11:00 a.m. The series, produced in partnership with Hearst Media Productions, will be hosted by actor and comedian Craig Robinson – known for his roles in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Office, and The Masked Singer.
A few highlights from the first episode include a story of how a young man’s life is changed forever by a visit from his favorite Globetrotter with a strong anti-bullying message; how the Globetrotters help brighten up the court of a local Atlanta community; a Group of DC youth being empowered through water and seeing Hammer take his slam dunk to new heights.
This is a special moment we can all be proud of – bringing an educational entertainment experience to children worldwide. So please join me in tuning in with your families this Saturday!

Work With UsThe Dollywood Foundation celebrated International Literacy Month by reaching a major milestone – 1 out of 10 children under the age of five in the United States now receives a book in the mail each month! This milestone was part of a 10-year strategy set back in 2015, but thanks to the Foundation’s more than 3,000 local program partners, that goal was met two years early!
